Liminal Space Model

Liminal spaces are physical spaces between one destination and the next. The centerpiece of the model, the ice machine, is framed by an arched doorway leading from one room to another. Lit only by the exit sign and a blue light within the ice machine, the colours and physical space contribute to a sense of discomfort and allure. Using various mediums like resin to capture the melting ice and acrylic paint to detail the floors, the entire model is made by hand.
